“We are in a back office, alone, and I’m fixed in her eyes. They’re an odd colour: the silver-grey, like Astra’s, like my own eyes, is there, but mixed with some indefinable other that seems to shift in the light. The same eyes that can unravel time in the void? Undo things that have been done. I shiver. What is she? What am I?
